敬致：2022 年初一新生家长及学生

事关：2022 年初一新生熟悉班                                                            2021 年 12 月 28 日

(一） 为了让初一学生熟悉新的学习环境，本校于 2022 年 1 月 6 日（星期四）至 1 月 7 日（星期
五），早上 8 时至中午 12 时，举行实体“初一新生熟悉班”。

(二） 兹列出“初一新生熟悉班”相关细节：
1. 对象：本校 2022 年初一新生
2. 时间：早上 8 时至中午 12 时（请于 7 时 50 分前抵达学校）
3. 服装：建国中学校服及全黑绑带校鞋（若校服还没有拿到，请联络本校文具社 011-20713088 或穿整齐便服及全黑绑带校鞋出席）
4. 食堂：食堂 A（资讯大楼）会售卖食物，学生可以购买，然后在教室享用。
5. 防疫 SOP：
（a）体温检测：学生到校时，须测量体温，体温符合标准才可进入教室。体温达 37.5 度或
以上者，再检测仍然不符合标准，将通知家长带回就医。
（b）符合以下（i）、（ii）或（iii）其中一项的学生，请勿到校，并通知本校行政处（088-
254915）请假：
（i）学生本身确诊（Type A）、进行隔离中（Type B）或家中有人在隔离中（Type
C）；（ii）身体不适者，如咳嗽、发烧、呼吸困难等相关症状；（iii）学生 MySejahtera（若有）出现“低风险、无症状 Low risk, no symptom（蓝色）”以外的状态。

6. 课表（让学生认识老师及课程，非正式上课）：

7. 携带物品：饮用水、点心、文具、簿子、零用钱（家长酌量）、课本（若需要）等。

8. 手机：为了方便联络，家长可让孩子携带手机到校，惟须遵守以下规则：
（a）到校后必须将手机关掉直至放学；
（b）上课期间（早上 8 点至中午 12 时）不可使用手机，并且把手机放进书包；
（c）学生必须自行保管好手机，若有遗失，本校恕不负责；
（d）不当使用手机者，本校将依校规处置（没收及记过）。

9. 学校将在 1 月 5 日（星期三）透过 WhatsApp 通知家长学生的班级。

10. 不克出席“新生熟悉班”者请致电学校行政处（088-245915）请假。

Kian Kok Middle School Official Notice

Dear 2022 Junior One Students & Parents,                                    28th December 2021

2022 Junior One Orientation
For students to get familiarised with the school, Orientation (in-person) will be held from Thursday, 6th January to Friday, 7th January, from 8am to 12pm.

2. The details are as follows:

Time: 8am to 12pm (please arrive at school by 7:50am)
Dress code: KKMS uniform and black shoes with laces (please contact bookstore at 011-20713088 if you have not got it yet, or smart casual & black shoes with laces)
Canteen: Canteen A (at IT building) is open and students can have meals in class after purchase.
SOP:
1. Temperature: Before entering the classroom, students must have the temperature taken. If the
temperature is below 37.5 degree Celsius, students may proceed to classrooms. If not, subsequent
measurement has to be taken and if the temperature remains over 37.5oC, parents will be notified and student should seek medical attention.

2. Students in any of the following situations (i), (ii) or (iii) do not come to school and should apply leave by calling the school at 088-254915.
(i) diagnosed with COVID-19 (Type A), in quarantine (Type B), or have family member
having self-quarantine at home (Type C);
(ii) unwell or have symptoms such as cough, fever, breathing difficulties and others;
(iii) with MySejahtera status (if any) other than “Low risk, no symptom (blue)”

Orientation timetable (introduction only, no formal teaching):

Things to bring: water, snack, stationery, exercise book, money, textbook (if needed) & etc.
Mobile phone: students are allowed to bring while adhering to the following rules:
(i) mobile phone should be turned off upon arrival at school, and until school is over;
(ii) students cannot use mobile phone during school (8am to 12pm) and it should be placed in the bag;
(iii) please mind your phones and the school will not be held responsible for any damage or loss.
(vi) students who use mobile phone inappropriately will be subject to disciplinary action (confiscation or demerit).

The school will WhatsApp parent about the class allocation of students on Wednesday, 5th January.

Students who are unable to attend Orientation need to apply leave by calling the school at 088-245915.
